Relapse Prevention

This one day workshop centres on devising strategies to aid clients in ensuring that they do not relapse / lapse. In the most general sense, Relapse Prevention is a behavioural self-control programme designed to teach individuals who are trying to maintain changes in their behaviour how to anticipate and cope with the problem of relapse, by assisting them in knowing triggers and finding alternative methods to deal with these triggers.

Who Should Attend

All practitioners in health, social care, probation, police, drugs, alcohol and mental health settings, this workshop will be of interest to both newcomers and those more familiar with relapse prevention initiatives.
